HICAPS on the spot claiming is available with most major health funds for remedial massage, so you only pay the gap on the day. Bring your health fund card to your appointment. Rebates depend on your level of extras cover.
About Each Treatment
Remedial massage
Remedial massage treats specific injuries and soft tissue problems in muscles and connective tissue, including tendons and ligaments. Sessions often include an assessment as well as hands-on treatment. Pressure ranges from soft to firm depending on what your body needs, so each treatment can feel a little different.
Neck, Shoulder and Back
A focused 30 minute remedial session for muscle tension and pain in the neck, shoulders and back, using techniques such as trigger point therapy. It suits a busy day and anyone who wants targeted work on one area.
Relaxation Massage
A less specific treatment than remedial massage. Larger areas of the body are massaged with lighter pressure, using techniques chosen for comfort, to help body and mind relax and unwind.
Hot Stone Massage
A full body treatment that combines smooth, heated stones with flowing massage techniques. You choose soft or medium pressure.
Cupping
Glass, plastic or silicone cups create negative pressure over the muscles. Cups may stay in place or be moved across an area as part of treatment. Request cupping as a 30 minute session, or add it to a remedial or relaxation massage.
Requesting Your First Visit
New clients choose New Clients on the Appointments page and complete a short health and consent form with their request. Repeat clients choose Repeat Clients. I confirm each request personally.
